About The Author
John Fay was a special agent for the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and later Director of the National Institute of Crime Prevention at the University of Louisville. He has held security management positions in the petroleum industry while teaching at the university level. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii and is a renowned and respected author of many books, including Butterworth’s Dictionary of Security: Requirements and Concepts, Drug Testing, Encyclopedia of Security Management: Engineering and Technology, and Models of Policies, Plans, and Procedures. Security, all by Butterworth-Heinemann. He was also a special agent for the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) and later Director of the National Institute of Crime Prevention. Former security manager for British Petroleum operations in the Gulf of Mexico. He was previously an assistant professor at the University of North Florida and the University of Houston.
