John J. Wild is a distinguished professor of business at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. . He earned his BBA, MS, and Ph.D. while at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He teaches business programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Professor Wild has won several awards in the field of teaching including the Mabel W. Chipman Excellence-in-Teaching Award, the Teaching Excellence Award from a University of Wisconsin business graduate, and the Departmental Excellence-in-Teaching Award from Michigan State University.
He also received national research scholarships from KPMG Peat Marwick and the Ernst and Young Foundation. Besides being active in teaching activities, he is also active as a speaker at various universities and national and international conferences. As an author, professor Wild is also active in the field of research on various topics including how to manage a company, capital markets, as well as financial analysis, and forecasting.
He is also active in various organizations both domestically and abroad including the Academy of International Business and serves as an associate editor and editorial board member for several prestigious journals.
Kenneth L. Wild established good relations with the University of London, England and briefly taught at Pennsylvania State University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Manchester (UMIST) in the UK and his BS and MS degrees from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Wild also does graduate work at the École des Affairs International in Marseilles, France.
