About The Author

Peter G. Northouse is a writer and a professor emeritus in communication at Western Michigan University. His career in the profession as a teacher is considered very good, he taught leadership and organizational science for approximately twenty-five years. In addition to carrying out his profession as a teacher, Peter G. Northouse is also active in writing scientific journals on leadership studies ranging from leadership assessment, ethics in leadership, and leadership dynamics.

As an academic who has a lot of expertise in the field of leadership, Peter is given the trust to become a consultant in the fields of leadership development, conflict management, and health communication. He holds a doctorate from the University of Denver and his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.

Marie Lee is an editor and educator who has taught communication courses at Western Michigan University and worked as a consultant. With a background in journalism, she has written numerous articles and edited books, including Northouse’s Leadership: Theory and Practice (9th ed.) and Introduction to Leadership: Concepts and Practice (5th ed.).
